Graduating artists Heike Qualitz, George Emerson and Tracy Pateman, along with the Head of School Gordon Bull discuss the ANU School of Art Graduate Exhibition 2009. This years ANU School of Art Graduate Exhibition features the works of students completing their studies in Bachelor of Visual Arts Honours, Bachelor of Visual Arts, Bachelor of Digital Arts and the Diploma of Art. The exhibition runs from December 5 - 13, 2009. Students have majored in wood, textiles, sculpture, printmedia and drawing, photography and media arts, painting, gold and silversmithing, glass and ceramics. Visitors to the School will witness the talent of its emerging artists and experience the quality and diversity of art and craft education offered by the School, from fine furniture making to installation, digital imagery to ceramic objects. The works are displayed in the School of Art Gallery, Foyer Gallery, Photospace and in Workshop spaces throughout the School.
This is a very quickly jammed together / shot test video from the Canon Ixus 200 IS. The only issues I have are the way the compact camera handles light during videos - sometimes if a bright light source comes into frame, the camera compensates and the image darkens right down - this is emphasised by the speed at which the camera responds in this situation - slowly. That said, for a compact camera, the 720p HD video is very good. This video tutorial is an introduction to shooting video with a Digital SLR. The model I own is the Canon 5D Mark II, so its the one I demonstrate in the video.
