Photographing an aquarium with a digital camera?
November 7th, 2007 by digital photography
I have been attemping to take decent pictures of my aquariums with my digital camera, but the pictures are turning out pretty bad at best. Let me tell you what I have tried so far:
Turned out the lights in the room and took the picture with just the light of the tank and the flash. = Bright glare, taking up most of the picture.
Turned off the flash, left lights out in the room. = Dark blurly images, camera speed seems to slow without the flash on.
Turned lights in room to dim, flash off. = Better, but still blurry.
Lights dim in room, with flash on. = clear but again with the glare.
Tried all of above with adjusted speed. = noticed no change in the speed the camera took the picture or in the quality of the pictures.
I dont have much experience with photography, so any tips or idea’s that may help my pictures turn out better, would be so much help. Thank You!
