bronxboy asked: I am a total novice at photography in general, not just digital photography. The PDF user manual that comes with my Samsung S730 is hopelessly vague. Is there anywhere I can go to find clear instructions on all the functions of my camera?

tennis asked: I love photography, nature and people photographs. I think I have a very good eye for beauty and love to capture it in photographs. And even though I have tried and tried, I get hung up on the technical aspects of some of the cameras and my pictures do not turn out the way I would like. Which is better for capuring images and keeping the technical part simple, 35 mm or digital SLR cameras?

Lisa asked: I want to buy a good digital camera but i’m not sure which to get. I was checking out the kodak v1233 camera it’s 12 MP, and it sounds pretty decent, but i’m getting some mixed feedback on it. is it any good.
i want a camera on a budget of 100-150ish. under 200.
i’m into photography so i would like a camera that is pretty good for that.
does higher MP mean better pictures.

derekberner asked: I’m getting married and I can’t afford the professional photography packages that typically run $3-5K, so I’m trying to get the photography done on a budget, but I’d still like the pictures to be of professional quality for obvious reasons.
What are people’s experiences with various digital cameras? Are there any that I can pre-program to rapid-capture five pictures in a row at different exposures? Do any store in floating-point format instead of integer format?
Thanks in advance.

Indiesky asked: I have an interest in photography and would like to know what would be the best digital camera to get. I have a Sony Cybershot but I’m ready for an upgrade. I’m on a budget though. I’m willing to invest $450 for starters. Thanks!

B A asked: I have a Nikon n70 film camera-just the body and the lens it came with. First off am I good with just that or should I buy a new lenses, etc, etc to give it an upgrade? It seems like a nice fully manual film camera, but when I go into camera shops I see a huge price difference. Digital SLR’s can be as much as $1000 easily. Is it really worth the money, or should I just stick with Photoshop? (Sorry, a lot of questions in one :] )

Rising Student asked: I’m looking for a compact, relatively good-looking digital camera. I want one that takes pictures fast (has a fast shutter speed), takes good quality pictures, and at least some manual settings. I would use it mostly for my own entertainment (nothing professional) but do want to be able to manually adjust things, as I am interested in photography. I also do a lot of traveling, so something compact and sturdy is important. Long battery life and viewfinder are preferred, but not absolutely necessary!
