Sony announces the launch of the a55 and a33, a range of revolutionary new digital SLR high speed cameras. Featuring translucent mirror technology which allows the cameras to continuously shoot and focus whilst taking stills or recording full HD video. Both cameras shoot continuously at up to 10 frames per second on the a55 and up to 7 on the a33 – making the a55 the fastest burst continuous AF shooting mode the world has ever seen for any interchangeable lens camera with an APS-C size sensor.
